The Traveling Exhibit of Legionary Armor was just in town last week. Silvano Mattesini is the owner and operator of this fine exhibit. The restoration of all of the pieces is done personally by Silvano.

Silvano’s job sounds absolutely fantastic. The person wanting this job would however need to have a passion for history. He or she would also need to have training to find and restore these fantastic historical pieces. Capital would also be needed so that digging and renovation equipment could be purchased.

The daily operation of the traveling exhibit could be funded by charging visitors for each viewing. Advertising could be done through Facebook and other online medias. You could even create your own website to list the location of your constantly moving exhibit.

Although it would be very fun to do a job like this, it seems like it would be much easier to get some Roman armor replicas to put on display. Replicas can look just as great as the real thing, but much less costly. In fact many people have large displays within their own houses.
